Dialogue about the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, September 22, 2009
Sixteen CBS members participated in an initial, internal dialogue facilitated by Beth Ornstein and Yocheved Landsman. After a delicious dinner, participants were divided into two smaller groups for the dialogue itself, intended as a conversation in which participants would seek to understand their own and each other’s perspectives, but not to persuade each other or reach agreement. Meeting together at the end, participants generally expressed appreciation for the opportunity to listen to others in a congenial, non-confrontational environment.
Join the Dialogue
Another initial dialogue session is scheduled for December 8, 6-9 pm. The program is designed for one or two small groups, so preregistration is required. Because of limited space, the program limited to CBS members.
