Congregation Bonai Shalom is thrilled to announce that they have hired Stacey Aviva Flint as our new Executive Director. Here is some more information about Stacey – we are all excited to have her on the team! Stacey starts on July 1st.
Stacey Aviva Flint is a Jew of Color and non profit professional in Chicago. Stacey has a BA in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati, a Masters of Urban Planning and Public Policy for UIC (CHICAGO), and a Certificate in Jewish Leadership from Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership. Stacey began her career as the Policy Director for Chicago’s Jewish Council on Urban Affairs (JCUA) involved advocating for housing reform, criminal justice, and Jewish/African-American dialogue. Stacey is passionate about Jewish African American relationship building and is a member of the Jewish Black Business Alliance, American Jewish Committee, JCRC of Chicago Jewish Federation, Chicago JCC Engagers, and a Board Member of West Suburban Temple Har Zion in River Forest, Illinois. In her spare time she wrangles two teenagers and speaks and writes nationally on Antisemitism and Jews of Color.
