Annual Ilona Irene Rosenschein Holocaust Education Program

Monday, February 24, 2025 26 Shevat 5785

6:30 PM - 8:15 PMBoulderJCC

Jeffrey Veidlinger, Director of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute at the University of Michigan, shows for the first time how a wave of genocidal violence by Ukrainian peasants, which claimed the lives of 100,000 Jews between 1918-1921, created the conditions for the Holocaust.

Through stories of survivors, perpetrators, aid workers and governmental officials, he explains how so many different groups of people came to the same conclusion: that killing Jews was an acceptable response to their various problems.

This is a free program, but advance registration is strongly recommended. If you can not attend in person, please register for the Livestream option.
