Join Bonai for a presentation from Wally Klatch, who will share how he looks to the Torah, and specifically Parshat Vayikra, for guidance on dealing with his dementia. Following this discussion, Erich Baruch, JFS Jewish Disabilities Advocates Advisor, will help facilitate a conversation with Wally to allow him to elaborate on the story of his diagnosis, his discussions with family, and how his life now differs from his life before his diagnosis. Finally, we will invite questions from the audience and discuss how the Bonai community can be supportive of those with dementia and those caring for someone with dementia.
