Dear Friends, I am still overwhelmed, humbled and full of gratitude for the incredible event on Sunday honoring my 20 years as Bonai Shalom's rabbi. Thank you so much to Jennifer and all the staff, to Gali Beh and all of the volunteers for the incredibly hard work and devotion that went into planning and executing such a full, rich, fun and meaningful afternoon. I have so much appreciation for my rabbinic and other clergy colleagues who surrounded me with blessings and love and to all of you who showed up and celebrated all that we have achieved together.
It has been one of the greatest honors of my life having been a part of building the Bonai Shalom community here in Boulder, Colorado. As many of you know, we are actively raising money for a capital campaign for a new Bonai Shalom building. As I look to the future, being associated with the physical home where so many people and families will have special occasions, social gatherings, learning, and spiritual connections would be such an amazing and impactful legacy that would bring me so much pride and joy.
Help me honor my past and build the future of this community by helping me to raise $180,000 for our new building in honor of this 20th anniversary! You can join our gofundme here or make a pledge here
This week's Torah portion, Parsaht Ekev, invites us to offer blessings of appreciation for all that we have and for the land which nourishes us in so many ways. I feel so blessed and so grateful and so full. Thank you everyone for such abundance in these past two decades and for participating in our future! Watch - Honoring the Past. Building the Future.
Many blessings and Shabbat Shalom, Rabbi Marc
